Part of the in Krakow of course. A nice-to-know fact about this church: On every hour, a trumpet signal is played from the top of the taller of St. Mary's two towers. The plaintive tune breaks off in mid-stream, to commemorate the famous 13th century trumpeter, who was shot in the throat while sounding the alarm before the Mongol attack on the city.
Nice toning. ‘Funny’ fact, I can imagine some tourists scratching their heads after the tune gets interrupted. :P
Cool to know something ‘behind’ the photo.
A wonderful detail of the very impressive and big church I remind of! I especially like the fine balustrade with the word M-A-R-I-A!
You have an outstanding good and well structured site. I enjoyed browsing through it.
