we are still in Krakow/ Polen- a sepia photo again in order to express the tristesse pure? Oddly enough that we -mostly well-off- foreigners are so fascinated by these “gray/brown” quarters of the East-Europeans towns! I don’t know what Poles, surely proud of the developments in their country, would say…

The colours match the atmosphere you would expect in a post-communist country, but are they (the colours) more muted than in Western Eaurope?

Well, the weather was pretty bad. Lots of low hanging clouds and blown out skies, so this post processing style matches both the weather but also my feelings.

Ja, dit kan ik goed navoelen dat de algemene stemming door een grijs weer wordt beinvloed en de echt trieste indrukken van een stad nog duidelijker worden opgenomen. Volgens deze ervaringen is deze foto voortreffelijk!
