Overlooking the Malecon

Posted on 9 January 2007 by Jasper

A very typical Cuban/Havana house. This one overlooks the Malecon, the avenue that runs along the seawall at the northern shore of Havana. This is a good shot for me to remember how the city felt.

It is sad to see how derelict these beautiful buildings have become. I like the small figure of the woman in the doorway on number 61.

That is exactly what I like about this shot too! :)

Also don’t forget the lazy person on the balcony and the pottery on the windowsill on the right and street lamp left.
In short: the picture is complete.

On their bag is written: battery not included.
We have to wait for the Duracel delivering.
