I never realized this is such a slim, almost delicate looking windmill. In the days that we lived around the corner, there was no mill at all: a great initiative to have a new one built.

The mill had been burned down since 1932. The city tried to rebuild it in 1938 and 1963 but they failed because of lack of money. They started building this version in 1999 and it was finished in 2002 :)
