I was talking to a friend this weekend about how I didn’t see any snow this year. Yesterday morning I woke up and the streets were white! Caused big traffic jams all over the country (about 60 of them with the total length of 560 km’s) as you can expect.
It is not nearly as much the blizzard in New York (understatement of the year?), but I liked it. Speaking of New York, check out the following photos from the snow over there:
Hope these New York shots bring back some nice memories mum!!
As you can see, the one below was shot on Zandvoort station.
Thank you very much my dear. The picture of the park is beautiful, but Central Park in october was also very amazing!. When we were dining at Rockefeller Centre we had a view over the skaters there.
The problem with snow in Amsterdam is that before it touches the ground it already lost all the white in it. Brown slippery stuff is what’s left. Thanx for the pic. It remindes me of white winters with snowfights when I was younger.
oh wow, the lighting in this photograph is beautiful. was it taken in the early morning? also, the snow in nyc is nothing compared to up here in toronto, or even elsewhere on the east coast of canada!
Allison: It was in the morning indeed. Around 8′ish.
I have seen the shots over at different logs. There was even a power outage (toronto was it?), saw the shots over at daily dose.
