I love the repetition of the stepped gables. A century ago employees of an important printer’s used to live here. They died young because of lead-poisoning.

last time i was in haarlem, i photographed these as well…trying to shoot something for lalaland’s “symmetry” month. YOUR effect is exactly what i was trying to capture, and didn’t..:-)
