The evening before I made this shot the snail was sliding in my kitchen and I didn’t see it until I accidently stepped on it I scrapped it off the floor and threw it out. The next morning I looked at it and saw the spider (or some bug that looks like a spider since it only seems to have 2 eyes) was eating it.. another nice kodak moment :)

I just used the G3 standard lens, with macro-mode switched on.
It’s a full crop, so here you are just seeing the sharp ‘center piece’ of the original photo. I wish I had this pic in full size :~

I am baffled by the detail and the surface structure! Very good.
I just must be a schoolmaster too I’m afraid: Scrapped should be with one -p- (so: scraped)
